Karaoke Songbook

Terms of Service

Last updated 23 October 2026

Who we are

Karaoke Songbook is run by Digital Entertainer Limited ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, number 05687461, whose registered office is at 2 Beacon End Courtyard, London Road, Stanway, Colchester, CO3 0NU, United Kingdom.

These terms are an agreement between you and us. They cover this web site and the song request service ("Karaoke Songbook"), which lets a host take song requests from singers' phones and see them in EasyKJ or another program we support. By using Karaoke Songbook, as a host or as a singer, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Hosts and singers

A host is a karaoke host (KJ) who subscribes to Karaoke Songbook to take song requests. A singer is someone who sends a request to a host from their phone. Singers don't pay or need an account.

Subscribing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paddle takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt, and its buyer terms apply to your subscription.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, from the link in your receipt emails or by emailing us. When you cancel, you keep using Karaoke Songbook until the end of the period you've paid for, and then your subscription ends and you aren't charged again. For refunds, see our Refund Policy.

Your subscription code

Your songs and your data

We don't supply any songs. Song requests use the list of songs (titles, artists and disc numbers) that your copy of EasyKJ sends us. None of your music files are sent. You're responsible for having the right to play the songs you offer, and for any licences needed to perform music in public where you host.

When your subscription ends, we keep your song list for 30 days in case you come back, and then delete it. Song requests are deleted 90 days after they're sent.

Using Karaoke Songbook fairly

You mustn't use Karaoke Songbook:

Hosts are responsible for how singers use their page. A host can block a phone that misuses song requests.

Ownership

This web site and everything in it, including its software, design and text, belong to us or our licensors. Subscribing gives you the right to use Karaoke Songbook as these terms describe; it doesn't transfer any ownership.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Karaoke Songbook running well, but we can't promise that it will always be available or free from errors. We may update, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw the service, we'll give you notice and refund the unused part of what you've paid.

Suspension and ending

We may suspend or end your use of Karaoke Songbook, or cancel a subscription, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if payment isn't made or is reversed, or if we need to because of fraud or a risk to security. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

Our responsibility to you

If you're a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital services that are faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms affects them. Advice about your legal rights is available from Citizens Advice.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we're not responsible for loss we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, and if you use Karaoke Songbook for business, we're not responsible for loss of profit, business or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months before the problem arose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when Karaoke Songbook changes. The date at the top says when they last changed. Changes don't affect a subscription period you've already paid for in ways that reduce your rights.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
